AOFDF Elects Jose Maria Javier Weber Bautista as President and Zhixing Xue as Secretary General
The Asia Oceania Flying Disc Federation (AOFDF) has elected Jose Maria Javier Weber Bautista as President and Zhixing Xue as Secretary General, marking a important moment in the organisation’s leadership.
This momentous change in leadership also marks the retirement of the AOFDF esteemed former President, Fumio “Moro” Morooka, who has been an exemplary leader and a driving force behind the AOFDF’s progress for many years. Moro’s dedication, vision, and unwavering support have played a pivotal role in shaping the federation and nurturing the flying disc community in Asia and Oceania.
“I am deeply honoured to have been elected as the President of AOFDF,” said Bautista. “I look forward to working collaboratively with the entire flying disc community to advance our sport and create opportunities for athletes across Asia and Oceania.”
Accompanying Bautista in this new leadership lineup is Zhixing Xue, elected as the Secretary General. Xue brings administrative competence and a passion for flying disc sports, promising to contribute to the federation’s operational excellence.
“I am excited to take on the role of Secretary General and contribute to the development and success of AOFDF,” commented Zhixing Xue. “Together with President Bautista and the entire federation, we aim to achieve remarkable progress and foster a vibrant flying disc community.”

As the newly elected leadership assumes their roles, the AOFDF looks ahead to a future marked by innovation, inclusivity, and continued growth under the guidance of President Bautista and Secretary General Xue.
Greetings to all our fellow Flying Disc delegates and friends we wish to thank you for your support and vote to lead the Asia Oceania Flying Disc Federation for the year 2024. Me and Xue would like to thank our ever supportive President Moro-San, for his service to the Federation all these years.
As we turn the page to 2024, our main objective is to further promote and support flying disc activities and events in our region through working with your National Governing bodies through proper education, Regional and division specific Events and Game Advisor and Coaching certification Programs. We know we have a lot of work to do but with your help and support, we are confident to be able to achieve this.
