Zhixing has been an active player since 2005 and started the first university club in China in 2005. He has played more than 100 tournaments at different levels, such as World Championships in 2012 and 2016, and World Club Championshiops in 2014. Zhixing has played a significant role in promoting disc sports. The population of flying disc has been growing rapidly that more than 3,000 schools started teaching flying disc, about 500,000 people involving with the sport. He was tournament director of the 2019 Asia Oceanic Ultimate and Guts Championships and the 2019 World Leisure Games – Flying Disc Program and has organised many Chinese national events including club, university and youth levels. 

He is board member of the General Association of Zhejiang Entrepreneurs – Sports Industry Committee, board member of China Association Of Travel Services – Sports Tourism Committee.
