AOFDF President Fumio “Moro” Morooka has been heading the AOFDF since 2011 when it was founded. Morooka has had a long career in sports administration, serving as board member of World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) since 1992, as President of Japan Flying Disc Association (JFDA) since 2009, and being part of international sports organisations/multi-sports events organising committees, such as GAISF/SportAccord, IWGA, Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games Organizing Committee Mobilization Sub Committee and World Masters Games 2021 Kansai Organizing Committee.

“ Next 2 years will be my last term as AOFDF President.  I have responsibility to recover AOFDF Championships after COVID-19 Pandemic, and I will do my best to make Flying Disc LA2028, Asian Games & Asia Beach Games official sport as WFDF Board Member also.” Fumio Morooka said.

“It is my great honour to be re-elected as AOFDF Secretary General with the support of our AOFDF community.” Zhixing Xue said. “Despite the challenges faced, let’s continue to deliver our strategic plan with our purpose. I believe in the bright future of Flying Disc by our joint efforts and commitment. With the ongoing momentum, we will continue to deliver to our athletes, members and the AOFDF community. As a continental member of WFDF, another goal is to be recognised by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA). The AOFDF will work hard to have Flying Disc sports include in various Games and Programmes organised by the OCA.”
